Jenny is a professional graphic designer with over 20 years of industry experience. Before starting her own design studio, she worked professionally in the publishing industry and at design firms in Cincinnati and Chicago where her clients included Target, American Girl, Bath & Body Works, Simon and Schuster, and Totes-Isotoner. Her work has been featured in Print and Step-By-Step Graphics magazines, and included in shows by the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), the Chicago Book Clinic, and the Art Directors Club of Cincinnati. She has received multiple awards for her work. Jenny is the founder of The 615 Collective, a creative co-work space for professional designers, writers, and photographers, located along the B-Line trail in downtown Bloomington.
In addition to her professional practice, Jenny is a graphic design educator. She is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Art + Design at Indiana University. Her research interests are service-learning, graphic design for non-profits, and design for social impact. Her most recent community collaborations have been with Shalom Community Center, a resource center for people who are living in poverty and experiencing homelessness; Middleway House, a home providing safe living conditions, education, and information to women and children who are victims of domestic violence; and Hilltop Garden and Nature Center, an educational resource for the surrounding community to connect with nature.
