Biography

Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Sarah received her MFA in Painting from the Yale School of Art in 2008 and her BFA in 2005 from the University of Louisville. She has taught video production and emerging media for the past eight years at Yale University, Pratt Insitute, and Vassar College, amongst others. Her short films have screened internationally in film festivals and galleries, most recently at Vox Populi in Philadelphia, PA and Franklin Street Works in Stamford, CT. Recent professional credits include Visual Effects for Stand Clear of the Closing Doors (Tribeca Film Festival Audience Award), Loitering with Intent (Tribeca Film Festival), Panda Bear’s Come to Your Senses music video, MGMT Alien Days music video, and commercials for Intel and House of Marley. She was the videographer for Amanda Palmer & The Grand Theft Orchestra’s 2012 world tour and has done video production for Martha Stewart Living, Naked in a Fishbowl (Cherry Lane Theatre), STREB: Kiss the Air (Park Avenue Armory). She enjoys living in Bloomington now with her dog, Dude.
