Interdisciplinary Studio Art Practice in China provides a unique work experience for students to record and render their impressions surrounded by the legacy of the traditional and the energy of modern Beijing—the economical, political, and cultural capital of China.

As an art student in the Beijing program, you’ll learn from renowned faculty at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), considered the top art institute in China. Here you’ll explore topics in both traditional Chinese art materials and contemporary practices, allowing you to explore new ideas and styles while advancing work in your favored medium. Time away from the studio is spent exploring the countless historical monuments and architectural marvels that Beijing has to offer.
