The McKinney Visiting Artist Series brings prominent working artists from a range of studio practices and fields to the Department of Studio Art. Artists lead workshops and critiques for students within the department, as well as lectures open to the campus community.

A new accolade has just been added to Marilyn da Silva’s list of awards: Washington D.C.’s James Renwick Alliance (JRA) has named her a Master of the Medium in metal and jewelry!These awards are given every other year to outstanding artists doing extraordinary work in the five traditional craft media: clay, fiber, glass, metal and wood.
The School of Art and Design at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a 4-6 week Fall 2017 McKinney International Art and Design Residency. The residency is open to artists at all levels of their career whose primary country of residency is outside of the United States. Approximate dates for Fall 2017 are September 1st through Dec 18th.
